How far will you drive for???

Back before we had this fancy internet thing available....or at least before I was aware of it....I drove from NE Ohio (Youngstown) to Philly to buy a KZ1000 frame that they didn't actually have.   

  I called a salvage yard looking for one and they said they had one....Then called again a week later, before making the 7 hour drive and was assured they had it, but when I got there I was told there may be a bent one somewhere in that "pile" in the yard.    Spent an hour looking through "The pile" but no luck.   They were apathetic about my complaint that they assured me they had something they didn't.    What could I do but head home.
