Rambling Man (Bruce) let me borrow a coffee table book he has called "The most scenic drives in America". It has a listing by region of 120 road trips, hard cover, 400 pages. It's very easy to use and could come in handy for planning trips. I found several places on e-bay to buy it. Here's a link for the seller I bought from. http://cgi.ebay.com/The-Most-Scenic-Drives-in-America-120-Spectacular-Roa_W0QQitemZ150209042189QQihZ005QQcategoryZ377QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem In looking at the Readers Digest web site there are several other books offered there along the same theme that look very good. Their prices are a bit higher than e-bay though.

OK, so we've got freezing rain outside today and I'm working on a couple summer tour camping trips. These trips will be about a week to 10 days in length and we like staying in State camp grounds (Better half likes the hot Showers and clean restrooms). Anyway, my 2 man timberline backpacker tent is on its last leg and to be honest, its getting a little tight with all the necessities we/she likes to bring along. So, here is the question: "What advise can you all give me on tents that are compact for strapping on and roomie at the same time.

NH residents. The wife and I are seriously considering moving to NH in a year or two when I retire. I've been to Portsmouth two times now and really liked the place but housing seems pretty high there. I'd like to be some great riding roads and the wife wants to either be on or near water and hopefully we can buy a boat. I've been advised to stay near the coast and in southern NH to avoid most of the mountain snows. I'd like to be within a hour of a decent size airport (Boston or Manchester?) to take trips to see the kids and grandkids. I'll also need to start my 2nd career so I'd need to be close enough to towns/cities where jobs are available. Any advice would be appreciated. Good, bad or indifferent.

I just bought a '99 RSV and I am thinking about removing the trunk in between long trips. Is there anyone out there that has done this and if so how difficult is it to do? I only plan on taking 2-3 trips per year that I would need the trunk. Is it worth the effort to take it off?
