    Thanks , sounds like the problem . man it's great to have a place like this to go to . Turns out I twisted my ankle so repairs will have to wait til monday , but I sure feel a lot better about it now.nothing better than good information

    left work today laid the bike down on right side very easy while in 1st gear probably 7mph I pick it up, shake it off, ride home. I no longer have 4th and 5th gears . the bike shifts 1,2,3, and that's it. Shifter feels just like it is in top gear.Everything feels normal it just only a 3 speed now. Anyone hear of this before . thanks
