  1. I paid $ 3.19 yesterday at Costco, in Tumwater, WA. We too have seen prices dropping, but they always seem to drop a lot slower than they went up.:confused07:

Gone up 15 cents since yesterday, wonder why? Are they trying to gouge Santa and his Reindeer? I thought there were laws against that sort of thing.

  2. Can't explain that 5 game loosing streak but even stupid coach can't stop this one. WVU Blowout!!!Austin,Alston,Smith & Bailey going to be names you remember!!

Bailey sounds like a drink, so he is drunk all the time

Smith, only half a gun, missing bullets and trigger

Austin, wanna be 6million dollar man, only worth 6 cents now

Alston, whats an Alston, sounds like an old timer beer (Falstaff) that lost its fizz

  3. I built one similar to this (scubadave designed), it's way handier than a Unigo. I carry golf clubs and folding lawn chairs you'd never get in a Uni-go. I believe the weight is kept down lower as well. I towed mine to the Black Hills and back to B.C. this summer, speeds in excess of 90 MPH crossing Wyoming and Montana, never a waggle. I had to keep checking my mirrors to see if it was attached. I'd highly recommend them. Ron:banana:

    Are the lights LEDs?

  4. Geezzz..........I think you guys are being a bit hard on the guy. Now most of us here who ride the Venture do so because we LOVE the V4 engine. If a V Twin was preferred, then there are a lot of bike choices out there. On the other hand, some of us also LOVE the style and the comfort of the second gen Venture. I have yet to find another bike, V Twin or otherwise, that offers the comfort and room of my RSV.

So...if somebody loves the styling and comfort of the Venture but also happens to love the low high torque and more relaxed loping feel of a V Twin, then the combination mentioned would be a beautiful thing.

So the question asked was not WHY anybody would want to but ..... has anybody seen it done. I have not and have no idea if it could be done or not but I can see where it might be an attractive option for some folks.

So there.....that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :rasberry:

You need to ride the Victory Vision or Cross Country, they both have plenty of room for the rider plus comfort, just don't like an air cooled engine.

  5. Finally, a place Mechanic and I can have some alone time. :whistling::whistling:

Looks like a nice fancy and expensive cooler for beer.

When can I "Borrow" the new "Beer" cooler?

Looks great, but can you put a motorcyle lift on that thing?

Thought I saw something like that on a few of them.

  6. So here's the update

I bough the Escalade model about the time posting this thread. I spoke with the owner (Jason Ellis) told him and emailed him exactly what I wanted, I was specific as to color and no chrome trim. He said we would have our trailer in about a month. He said it would only be a week before the body went to the painter, it took 2 & 1/2 weeks before the painter got the trailer. Then, they painted it the wrong color, another week to figure out what they were going to do. It took two more weeks for the body with the correct color to get back to the trailer shop and then one more week before they shipped it and a week for it to get here.

Don't go away, I'm not done. The day it gets here I unpack it and low and behold chrome trim. Then I begin to assemble it (attaching the axles to the frame and body to the frame). When I go to put the wheels on there are no lug nuts or center caps for the wheels. So down to the parts store to buy four lug nuts. I should mention that they also forgot to send the spare tire mounting hardware that as I type I still don't have. When we set the body on the frame, all the holes line up but with the front bolts in place and finger tight there is a gap in the back between the body and the frame of about an inch. No way to get the bolts through the frame. Then I notice (with all the frame and body holes lined up) that the left wheel touches the wheel well. I can't get the owner to answer my calls but a guy from the shop by the name of Thomas is now dealing with me but he has no authority to make any decisions, he has to clear everything with the owner. He, Thomas, wanted to send me a completely new trailer fully assembled but the owner said no. I spent several day working on a solution to the axle issue and gap in the rear. Wiring??? What a joke!!! When The owner was still talking to me he told me they use "standard 5 wire trailer color configuration". Not even close!!! It was all jacked up. And the paint, well the color's right but lets just say it looks like the guy painted it in his garage with no filtered ventilation. There are specks in the paint all over the place. If you took your car to a body shop and got this paint job, you'd be taking it back.

I'll be calling the BBB as well and making a video to post on You Tube so there will be more information about this company out there to warn people about their poor products and really bad customer service.

So, why not return it? If they did not send you what you ordered, then it should be returned. :(:(

  7. I'm a great believer in "something for everyone" :D

I once wrote an article that included the phrase "and who the hell wants to ride across Kansas?" ... I can still hear the howls of protest :)

And you said that considering your in Oklahoma with all that red dirt? I know when I leave Kansas into Oklahoma, bamm there is the red dirt.

Oh, and we will be crossing Oklahoma this week going to Kansas :rasberry::rasberry:
