well folks it's been a while since I have been on here. Had a bout of pneumonia and was in hospital for 3 days. Go Tue. for second round of chemo. Just ask for prayers for strength. Also go back to work tomorrow, probably half day.

Ok folks, just got home from having my first chemo treatment. Feeling fine at the moment just don't know what the future holds other than planning on going back to work until someone tells me different.
Maineac, sure wish I could get together with you while you are in town, but don't think I can right now.
Just wanted to let y'all know I'm still kicking.

Saddlebum, Ron is the guy that I bought my '93 off of and he is the only person that I let touch my bike. As far as knowing Venture's, he started working on them when they were first on the market in '83 so he knows everything there is to know about them.

Saw a 2nd gen, white at the Houston Raceway Park today, plus another 2nd gen. blue and a 1st gen both heading east on 225 in Houston. Anyone we know??

don't know about the fix-a-flat, but the slime will definately ruin alloy wheels which we have on our scoots. I use the Ride-On and recommend it highly.

Kenny, sorry to hear about the burns, know how painful those can be.
Just a heads up for anyone else who plans on working with concrete. If you get concrete on you wash with vinegar. I know it smells, but it will counteract the acid in concrete.

Was down in Bacliff Tx. today and was leaving "Noah's Arc" restaurant when I saw an '05 Liquid Silver looking like it was gonna pull in. Went on and lo and behold, it passed me going north on 146 as I was sitting in the left turn lane for hiway 96.
Anyone of us???

Several weeks ago, there was a post in the joke section I think. It was about how as a nation we are doing things backwards by sending young people to war when we should be sending "cranky old men".

several months ago, someone posted a link to a place that had replacements lenses for the accessory rear lighting. These are the small oblong red lenses that go in the chrome rear bumper and side panels under the saddlebags on a 1st. gen. I somehow have managed to lose this link. If anyone knows of what I am talking about and has that info, it would be greatly appreciated if you could repost it.

This Tue. 41 yrs. ago GOD gave me an ANGEL to share the rest of my life with. Linda and I were married on that date. The reason I say ANGEL, is she has had to be and still is for putting up with me all that time. Also, for being willing to go on until the FATHER IN HEAVEN calls us home. Am I humbled, yes. Am I amazed, yes. I really don't know how to put into words the feelings in me as I write this. But, believe me they are they are difinitely on the "good side" for lack of a better term.

autopilot, congrats to you and the Mrs. on 40 yrs. That is something to be proud of in todays times. We celebrated 41 yrs in May.
