  1. We were planning a "turducking" this year but my lame neighbor didn't get a duck. He is still out pheasant huntin.... we thought about the turkey, pheasant & chicken but couldn't tell the realtive what it was called so we smoke just the turkey!! We have fried and smoked numerous turkeys. Both are excelent but smoken is far easier.

  2. I too was a late bloomer. Lots of miles on a bicycle. 15000 miles on a 10 speed in 5 years. I didn't ride my first bike untill college (a 350 of unkown make) and rode about 250 miles total in 4 years. After that I rode an 800 for about 20 miles in the early 80's. In 2007 I rode my first dirt bike around a friends acreage for a day. That was it, I bought a V-Star 650 in 2008 and in May of 2009 bought the RSV. I have logged about 4000+ miles on the RSV and love it. By the way, I am 49. Very late bloomer.

  3. Gonna take the factory, non-folding one off my 1999. PM me your address and it is yours for shipping charges. Not sure how to wrap it, so I may have to take it to the local UPS Store and let them take care of it.

  4. Moving tables?? I wa never near that table. It was great to meet Larry, Chris & John (and significant others). Thanks Larry for setting this up for such a large crowd. The food was good and the conversation enlightening. The weather for us was hot hot hot even the whole way home (east). Great pics too. Thanks again and hope to see you soon!!!

  5. Ditto that he's alright. Here is the lesson to be learned if he didn't from this episode. My buddy drove his RSV drunk. Ended up with broken hip, back, ribs and ruptured kidney. 3 months in the hospital, 6 months of rehab and no bike to ride. Plus a DUI, court appearances and fees. This happened 2 years ago.

  6. Same Here. Lunch it is if all agree. Lunch is good as the wife is not use to riding and does not want to ride too far yet. Levenworth is jsut right. If it were at St Helens, I would be by myselt and have to find an overnight stop. Thanks. Am looking forward to meeting a member.

  7. I also have trouble with lower back pain. Riding was okay but I found myself hunched over. I found a Utopia backrest on ebay. what a difference. I can ride for miles and riding is significantly more comfortable. Good luck!:big-grin-emoticon:
