  1. Before I start tearing into the wiring of the front turn signals I thought I would ask. My right front turn signal is not working properly. When you signal a right the indicator light blinks on and off rapidly. I checked the bulb and it is good. Switched the left bulb for the right and same action. When you look at the turn signals when you first turn the bike on you see one filiments glowing in each turn signal. When you activate the left turn signal you will see two filiments glowing with one going off and on to create the flashing signal. This filiment is a smaller brighter and above the other filiment. When you activate the right turn signal the smaller top filiment does not light up but the lower filiment (running ) blinks weakly instead. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. My son did his time in Iraq (Calvery Scout). They train them well and they know what to do. We have the best trained miltary there is and THEY know it. We will pray for his safe return.

  3. They may have grounded the can at another location with a short ground wire. This way the grounding bar attaches to the can with bolts or screws will serve as a completed ground to the can. I have seen it done but is not a safe way to ground the system.

  4. The key to getting the beast off the ground is the press down on the stand. It's not so much the pull up but the press down that lifts the bike. I found this after watching a guy who weighs 150 lb lift my old first gen with no problem. After he demonstrated several times it came easy. Level the stand, place your right foot on the stand, right hand grab the passenger rail, left hand on the handlebar, face straight ahead, press down HARD on the stand while lifting up with your right hand. The press is the key to getting the bike on the stand. It will work.

  5. We are planning a trip to the Southeast Ark/Southwest Ok area for RV camping and take in the countryside. We have been looking all over the Internet at different roads and byways to find some scenic and fun roads to travel. Does anyone have some suggestions as to which roads are the best for motorcycling. Keep in mind my lean & speed control monitor will be riding with me.

  6. Just a word of caution if you go to the Boot Hill (cemetary) at Deadwood. The parking lot slopes at a steep angle to the right as you try to park near the top parking lot. Watch that you don't drop it when you come to a stop. Has happened :>)

  7. The wife and I went to see the heads last year at the end of June through the first week in July. The sites around Custer and the roads to Deadwood and Sturgis are awesome. all the previous sites mentioned are great but a word of caution. See Mount Rushmore early in your trip unless you have a love of large crowds. On July 4th the roads are clogged from Keystone all the way up the mountain. All the roads entering from Sylvan lake were backed up for miles and miles. You don't want to be caught on them. Your grip on your clutch wont last. Other than that it is a great trip and beautiful ride. One more thing. Forget about trying to keep your bike clean. Every time you stop for any length of time in the Black Hills it will be covered yellow pine pollen. It is that time of season in South Dakota.

  8. "This was just sarcasm, wasn't it?" I sure hope so, if not then don't coming crying to me when the scumbags enter your home and harms you and your family. Sounds bad doesn't it. It's out there and if you want to wait for a jury to find him guilty of these crime everytime before you or law enforcement acts then you will be the one sitting alone in the court house at their trial.
