Your gauge should have come with reducers or restrictors. And yes you need to use them or the vaccum will be to great for the gauge.
That's what I thought. Thanks.
Sounds like a great project for tomorrow.

Here you go and it's very simple. Your dealer is trying to rip you off. It's about a 15 minute job after you've done it the first time.
I also have this type gauge.
Question:
Do you reduce the diameter in the hoses to preform carb sync? On my Hayabusa you use a reducer in the line to the carbs. No mention in your article so I assume you just use the standard hose by it's self.

Greetings,
I found a site that had clear tail light lense for the Venture but listed 99-04 models.
Were the later years different? I have an 08.
Links always helpful.

After shopping this morning I have decided to go with the air/foot driven Pit Bull lift with Venture adapter.
My Mother always told me you get what you pay for. It was not cheap but neither is the cost of a new Venture or replacement parts if an accident occurs. They were $50.00 off which covers some of the shipping.
Ships in three (3) weeks and I will post up pictures and a review. Maybe a video if I can figure out how to upload one.

Greetings,
I have been searching for the best bike lift for the best price naturally.
What have you found that works best on the RSV?
Craftsman usually has a sale every now and then but the user reviews make me want to run away.
Thanks in advance.

I have been running Dunlop Wide whitewalls for the last four seasons. Here is a pic of mine. I absolutely love the look of them....on this bike. Wouldn't look right on everything, though.
Love it! Yeah, I'm tossing this around on the color of bike. Some look good..others do not. My Bluish Gray Metallic might look good..might look awful.
Thanks for the pics!

Get used to it. Seems all the accessories are a pain to install. We have ways to defeat that though.
Say, I saw in another thread you had a Roady XM you didn't need.
Still have it?

Found time to install the rails this morning. Yup, had to redrill the mounting holes in the rail. 30 minute job into several hours.
They are now even and set just right. Thank you to the members who posted this needed fix.
Yamaha could do much a much better job of quality control.

Is that black in color or color matched?

It just so happens that I have a Roady 2 that I'm not using anymore. If anyone wants it I'll give it to you for the cost of shipping, or better yet save that money if your going to Maintenance day.
Still have it?

BTW the passing lights work great but are the worst design of anything I have put my hands on. You will not enjoy the installation but will like the lights after you have to adjust them umpteen times.
Truer words were never spoken.
They are installed however.

Which way did you folks wire them? On all the time, low beam or high beam?

Be sure that you use a spacer when you install the passing light mount. They are available through a member here, although his name escapes me for the moment. The spacer will allow you to split the faring in the future with out removing the passing lights. Be sure that you seal the running lights/ turn signals where they connect to the light bar. Also if you plan on installing the visor on the headlight, this would be the time.
Thanks for the tips! Might have to wait now due to the fact I want to run the visors but have yet to order them.
I'll follow post for the "spacer" mod also.

Greetings,
Getting ready to install a set of passing lamps. Looks straight forward and time consuming.
Any tips, tricks and short cuts?
Thank you in advance.

Hi all !!
Well it just so happens I just painted one in the Dark Blueish Gray Mat.#8 and will know for sure by next week if it an exact match to the lowers for the 2008. It should be since its the code # given by Yamaha. ( I just want to make sure ).
I also now have the 2000 MM color for a lower match paint and the 2006 Black Cherry.
That would be it! And if a match start painting another!
PM price info.

Diamond R is an authorized Wagner Grill distributor and sells them from their web site. This may be the grill covers you are talking about. They come color matched to the RSV and are held on with plastic tye wraps to the bike frame points.
Moakster
Yes, same ones. Have an email into the manufacture reguarding 08 blue/gray metallic.

Greetings,
Definatley going to order up one of these and I will have this painted to color match the bike.
How is the screen mounted? Is it removable for paint?
Thanks in advance.

The rear passenger pegs are a must do for the other half however, has anyone used a different rear peg? Would like a rubber peg istead of the solid peg.
Kury offers several but I need the bolt size from Diamond setup.
