    Doing my own tire change on 2nd Gen RSV, I used HF wheel weights on the rear wheel and frankly they stick out like a sore thumb. I'm not concerned as you can't see them behind the saddlebags anyway. The front tire is exposed. Has anyone found wheel weights that are not as obvious?

    I installed a cheap inductive pickup tachometer, I'm not so concerned about the exact RPM but I wanted an idea where the RPMs are at about 70-75mph in 5th gear. I know the manual says idle rpm's are 950 -1050. Just thought I would ask anyone that has installed a tach and knows cruising RPMs

    I'm pretty new to this forum so if this is already posted forgive me. Clymers manual says to remove the exhaust and rear fender. I found a couple of posters that said they could remove the shock without even removing the rear tire. I will remove the rear tire because I am putting on a new one. Is that as far as I need to go or should I remove the exhaust and rear fender? Thanks for any help or replies. I

      Thanks for the welcome, I just purchased a 2009 RSV and haven't even been able to ride yet. we're getting a bunch of snow. I plan on taking advantage of the tech and knowledge of those in the forum.
