    Renovation 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Venture XVZ 1300 TF

    Well, here's the whole story.

    My colleague Marco passed away at the end of May 2021 at the age of 56. He left me this motorcycle. Together with a friend we decided to fix the bike.

    Technically the bike is 100%, engine, gearbox, clutch and brakes are fine. There is a lot going on, especially optically, because the Yamaha has been outside under a tarp for years, near the sea. A lot of chrome has been affected and there are steel brackets where no paint can be found at all. We will have it partly re-chromed and powder coated. We want to paint the bike in twotone, probably red/black.

    Our goal, well sort of. Engine and engine parts will be black matt.

    Hi guys. I'm Peter from the Netherlands. Got myself a 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Venture XVZ 1300 TF with 18000mls. More or less in bad condition: lot's of surface rust. Was stored outside under a tarp 2 miles from the sea for 5 years. Motor and gear are perfect.

    Well, we got something to do this winter.
