Good for you, you're going to love it. By the way, the 1st gen is faster, it has to be. They need to get home quick before that old thing breaks down again!

2007 Midnight RSV. What else is there?
-
It is about 13 degrees here in east Tennessee with a chill factor below zero. But, it is supposed to be near 60 by Saturday and most all of next week. I just keep telling myself that "This too shall pass".

That's WAY TO COLD. Temp here right now (Denver Colorado) is 67 degrees. What am I doing here? it's time to
Sorry, I can't help myself.

Change it soon, If it goes out, everything stops and you will be stranded. I KNOW! A couple of hours on the side of the free way and a tow, makes the $150.00 cheap!

I sold my 2002 Venture to a friend about a year ago, I put 68,000 on the bike. He has put about 14,000 on it since I sold it to him, so that's around 82,000 on the bike now and the thing runs like new, no major repairs, no problems, no end in sight! He loves it.
I replaced my 2002 with a new 2007 Midnight. I have 15,000 on this one and it looks like another great ride.
I'ts not a Harley, you don't need a new one every 2 years!

I'm so sorry to here about your dog. I know how it feels to loose a pet (Friend). You are right, they are without question a part of the family.

Congrats on your new baby! She is beautiful. I am sorry about the "harley syndrome" however. I understand those born with "harley syndrome" live relitivly short lives. So enjoy here while you have her.

Man, it looks like the road in your pictures were covered with black ice!
You are right! It's ice! :scared:Somtime after we started up the pass the chain law went into effect (chains only). We had solid ice at the top of the pass for about 2 miles. And just in case your wondering NOPE I dont want to do it again! It took us about 3 hours to go 16 miles in snow and slush. Makes for a great story, but once is enough.

As the temps dip down into the 30's at night here in the Carolinas, I was wondering what is the coldest temp that you've ridden in?
With my normal gear on, which is basically a leather jacket and leather gloves, I decide that yesterdays 40 degrees was a bit too cold - but I was pretty good this morning at 46 degrees.
0 degrees at 10,500 ft:snow2:

I don't know about the rest of you, but come 5:00 the hubby and I are jumping on the bikes and it doesn't matter where we go. It's going to be great!!
Hope you all get a chance to ride this weekend cuz life doesn't get any better than that!!
Happy Friday!
Sorry no pity party here, Life is to short and its only $$. Family and Friends are way more important.
I'm not waiting untill 5 either. Weather here is a little cold 50 degrees right now (11:45 am) cloudy and overcast, but 2 friends of mine are as crazy as I am. So we are hooking up in about an hour and were outa here for the afternoon. :Venture:I've been wet before and I'll be wet again.
Happy Friday and have a great weekend everyone!

LOL... I had to go back to the original post just to refresh my memory on what this was all about...now I have to ask...just how "close" is this relationship between Froggy and his secretary that he's comfortable enuf (and so is she) for her to come rescue him from the head..errr I mean bathroom???
:rotf:
OOPS I forgot about the Secretary! So to recap 2 guys (SilvrT and Frog) in a bathroom with a hoe, one of them is playing with his snake. What is the secretary doing there? Just watching or is she there to write the check?
-
OK, lets get this straight, We got 2 guy's SilvrT and Frog in a bathroom with a hoe and one of them is playing with his snake.
Have I got this right now?
-
Where this thread is going, one has to have been there to understand it LOLOL
Wow!!! This thing is getting out of hand (oops sorry), Now we got Frog, SilverT and a hoe with a copper head!
-
I got caught once in a bathroom with a hoe. I did hear something about a snake...
So did the bathroom you were in have a copper head like Frog's? I hear those are real expencive. But if you can afford the hoe you can afford a copper head!
-
I really, really wanted to comment about bathrooms and a "snake" but I won't.....
Just how does "copper head" come into play here:crackup:

All of them. I like anything that helps dress the bike up.
Steve is right, I like em all. Chrome is king Turn a little green into chrome!
-
Yup ... I've got an 09, but it's got 66,000 kms on it and is that nice Black Cherry colour
Cheers,
NICE!

It seems we have a lot of "fart smellers", oops I mean "smart fellers" here!

The way I see it, Harley did not want to ruin their hard earned reputation by selling a high quality motorcycle. Best to hide it so the rest of the line doesen't look as bad!
