Been 45 and balmy here in Salt Lake but last week. If you notice because I have a corner lot I snow blow the street so Mr Plow doesn’t push it back into my drive apron

My entire dash is overlayed with wood paneling, not sure how well it’ll come off or what the under layer will look like.

Worked fine when I removed it a few months ago. Decided to go with an amped Bluetooth instead. Most hardware included but some got vacuumed away. Purging the garage.

So what is the purpose of the four little plugs on the front side of the trunk? They are a rectangle pattern in the trunk below the passenger backrest. I want to mount an amp there and unfortunately the holes are not the right dimension. Thinking about abs welding them and drilling holes where I need but want to know why they’re there first.

99 Camry 211K miles. Got ran dry of oil last week now this. I have my suspicion but want some other seasoned mechanics to weigh in. Thanks in advance

Interesting thing I wanted to ask about…my bike sometimes has struggles to start mainly because I need to do some maintenance on the choke. In the cold morning my buddy was like good luck getting her running, to everyone’s surprise half a crank and she purred like a lioness. Left it idling for like 1.5 hrs charging my phone and packing up. Shut her down to access the key and the battery didn’t have enough juice to kick back over. What would cause this? Weak stator? I did in hindsight also have the heated grips running, and playing music.

It got a bit chilly overnight but the right mummy bag did it’s job. Met at a Harley shop in Logan Ut. who supplied an awesome breakfast. Did an organized ride with the Vagos up to Preston Id for a day of motorcycle rodeo, food trucks, raffle, live band, camping and of course drinking among other things. Great time! My first moto camping.

Personally I prefer the OEM carb setup. For one thing with four carbs you can balance the engine better which is specially nice if your compression between cylinders vary. With a single carb you cannot, you can only attain a general adjustment across the board. If a carb fails you can still run on the other three to get somewhere other than the side of the road. Finally looking at the setup you would also reduce air volume though I guess air velocity would increase, maybe. There is a reason why in they muscle car hay day we replace 2 barrel carbs with four barrel or even 6 packs. JMHO.
We need a “love” icon. My thoughts exactly! First thing that came to mind for me is “single point of failure” yeah we take risks only having two wheels but why add.

You simply give them your old windshield and they will duplicate it, even include any modifications you would like such as shorter/taller or narrower/wider. If your windshield is broken just give them the pieces the will use them as a template to make the new one.

Anybody have experience tinting a windscreen? I spoke with a tint shop and they said they couldn’t do and advised I talk with a vinyl shop. Stopped by a vinyl place today that also tints and said they can’t do it on plastic as it won’t stick very long. Anyone try it? Any luck?

I’ve been in contact with Clearview and no love. They were nice but just not going to help. Ordered a Slipstreamer 🤞

Thanks! Yeah speed week is something I always watched on Tv growing up and have been wanting to attend since I was like 14. So after finally moving within reasonable distance seven years ago I got a chance to check it out. Lots of years it’s flooded out or I just plain forget until it’s over. Apparently there is another event in September by a different association

Also was prepared with chairs and shade. EZ up tent fit nice on the hitch mount, didn’t even notice it.

Rode 150 miles out to Bonneville salt flats for speed week but it was a bust, track is currently flooded, they’re hoping to race Tuesday. Might take a day off work toward the end of the week and go back if they’re running. The ride was a success though five bikes, one cage and nine people in our
