  1. There are several "quick fixes" to seized engines but imo a locked up power plant needs to be broken down at least to hone the cylinder (assuming the lock up is due to piston/rings) Though this sounds daunting and next to imposible to some (if not many) if you have a basic understanding of mechanics doing a basic rebuild is not that hard. 1 suggestion is video the dismantle. This video can be used as refrence if you get stuck or confused on putting it back together. Youtube is your friend. While I doubt there is a video "tearing down a 1986 yamaha venture engine" there are any number of videos on most all aspects of an engine from syncing carbs to shimming valves. Some work does require tools you do not have and are to expensive to buy. Find a local machine shop for things like trueing decks and boring cylinders (if they are badly damaged the up side would be bigger pistons/bigger displacement lol) If nothing else it can be an amazing learning experience. You currently got 2 yamaha boat anchors. Have some fun and play with them and you might end up with a serious power plant. Btw I knew nothing about engines and 2 years later teaching myself I built a 78hp kart racing engine if I can do it then it is far from rocket science
  2. Semper Fi and rest in peace brothers. The pearly gates has a new guard detachment. This bastard needs spitted over a low fire and slow roasted for killing bikers and American heros
  3. How about carbonfiber with a little color https://compositeenvisions.com/composite-reinforcement-fabrics/reflections-carbon-fiber/ You guys are killing me. As a tinkerer I will do crap just because it has never been done. Wife will kill me but carbon may be in my future now lol. Got an idea brewing for a slide panel to get in the underside also. Will do some sketching and get back to you (or maybe a hinged side? Crap you guys are bad for my wallet)
  4. Damn good catch. They going all out. I got the info from facebook advertising
  5. Here is one thing I am looking at https://www.wish.com/product/5b3c926b4eb5f63d288cd434
  6. Hello group. My name is Wrecit and I am a cheep ass. Ok now that the 12 step introduction is out of the way anyone ever look at wish.com for sparkly parts, electronics, ect for your bike? I know first impressions of wish is look at price and write it off as Chinese junk. Well you are not totally wrong. I been buying off wish for little over 3 years and have yet to find an item that I said wow amazing quality but have been pleasantly surprised several times. Have bought wood router bits, work gloves and even a hud system I put in my minivan. Been looking at bike stuff as well as led strip lighting for the bike and will probably try some of the stuff out. Just wondering if there were any other habitual cheap asses here
  7. They claim dot and ece approve. As far as distracting I wonder that also though I did get a hud display for my minivan a few years ago off wish.com. first few days it did take some of my attention but in short order it became a perifrial tool. I found myself seeing clear as usual but my brain was picking up the hud info without realizing it. Now the rear view movement may be diffrent but the actual area on the visor is probably only about 1x2 inch max for the hud
  8. Here is link to product video https://www.facebook.com/odditymall/videos/440663546698964/
  9. https://smarttechwd.com/products/e-helmet Kind of reminds me of Stringfellow Hawk and airwolf in looks and not sure I would trust the shell at that price but interesting concept. Wondering if you could buy it, gut it, and install components into a good helmet
  10. Here in Pittsburgh, pa we actually shorten varmints down to Jagoff. It essentially means the same thing (goofballs that we love lol)
  11. Grrr can not load the video from my phone for some reason. To support that I have a screw loose I am a union carpenter who specializes in building scaffold. The video shows the view from about 220 ft in the air standing on a 2 inch pipe. And no I do not usually harness off because tieing off tends to pull you off balance. I have fallen 3 times in the past 20 years and all 3 times because a hooked lanyard pulled me off balance.
  12. Ok amusement park kicked my butt yesterday. Got home and passed out but my daughter and grandbaby had a blast. Now to answer the questions posed
  13. Freebird I am sometimes in france, Israel, Philippines, ect. Not because I am actually there but because I am paranoid and use a vpn. Vpn's also help when surffing the dark web for plutonium
