I have an XM radio in my truck and love it. Of course I'm very interested in having XM on my Venture as well.
Now I'm debating on what way to go. One thought is to buy a Pioneer Inno and connecting it through my speakers on the bike. I'm thinking that this would work nicely because it's compact and I can use it in my wifes car as well.
Has anyone else done this? Pros/Cons?
Thanks,
Bob

Great job quitting cigs......Lighting one up in support....

Good luck down there in California. Dang, every time I read about these fires, more people are having to evacuate. Over a million so far!

Have a fun and safe trip!

I don't rate compared to you guys but I did go across the country and back on a 1978 Suzuki 1000. As I recall, I averaged around 700 miles a day. This was in the early 80's when I was in my 20's.

I'm interested!

The midnights have a different seat on the older models and more chrome.
I think that's true of the 2006 models since I saw a used one in the shop. In 2007, the seats are the same.

Is there a difference between the Midnight Venture and the regular Venture, other than color?
I am looking at a new 2006 Midnight Venture.
I was just looking at the 2007 Midnight Venture and the regular (blue) models. The only difference that I could see is the front fork of the Midnight Venture is chromed and the blue one isn't. Well, the Midnight was about 300 bucks more as well.

Great pictures Skid! Thanks for sharing.

Cool! I just ordered one for one of my best friends at work.
Thanks for the offer Kurt. I'm sure I'll get one soon from one of my riding buddies or my brother in law who rides a Harley.

So all my buds with Harleys have Guardian Bells. Is that for Harleys only? I want all the voodoo help I can get.

How about Metzler's? They were pretty good tires back when I rode the first time (15 years ago). Just curious.

Yea, the dude was an idiot. Nice move throwing your beer can in someones lawn.

I remember this warning about a year or so ago. It doesn't pick up my phone number and it's listed in the phone book.
I guess I have to wonder what the big deal is. I don't care if someone knows where I live. Of course, that's just me.
A single gal wouldn't want some perv. finding her address.

Great start for your bike!
I wonder if Kangaroos are as determined to get hit as deer are here in the US.

Looks like you already added some nice accessories!
Very nice bike!

It wasn't too bad in my neck of the woods. I think some guys lost power for awhile but I didn't. It's really nice out today. Wish I was riding the bike instead of entertaining company.

Can't wait to see it!
Hope the weather is a little nicer down south of us in Indianapolis. This weekend might be the last chance for a good ride.

Good catch Allan! One of my co-workers has a V-Strom. Looks like a fun bike to ride.

Hi Scott: I read your other post, yes it is quite a concern to look around and see friends and people you know, always involved in an accident. That I suppose is my only concern about riding.......are the ones coming up behind me, I always keep one eye behind me, always, keep the bike in gear at the stop......have trained Sandy to watch too.......and practiced it in empty parking lots....you feel this bike start to jump at the stop......you grab me and hold on we are going for a ride.
Your buddy did the right thing...he was observant....
I've always been concerned with people coming up behind me as well. Funny thing is I've never thought about keeping my bike in gear at a stop. Great point there, and I plan to change that bad habit.
Pioneer Inno....Anyone use one?

Couple of questions. How did you mount it? Does the battery last very long? I think the battery issue might be the only thing that is causing me to pause in buying one.
