  1. Just came across this post. Sorry about your moms passing away. Thank God for giving her such a long life, but I know, it's always difficult to accept.

Yeah, me too, like Bongobob, at first thought it was the Venturerider.org "Mother". :scared:

  2. Was 5 celcius yesterday, and roads were dry (most areas) here in Toronto.Had to go out meet some friends for coffee. Took car keys as well as bike keys as I walked out of house. Decisions,decisions...took me all of 2seconds to decide what to take. Really enjoyed the ride out and back, which involved small roads as well as highway.

Couldn't think of a better way to start the new year. Happy New Year indeed!

  3. Don't multi cylinder EFI bikes still need to be synced, unless they are running a common throttle body setup? The sync only gets all of the throttle plates to open at the same time so all cylinders are working equally has nothing to do with fuel air mixture.

Not sure, FF. Am not very mechanical minded. Don't know why I even ordered it, in first place. I just like buying stuff.:mo money::bawling:

  4. My offer still stands...

    Hey Bob..

.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Becky.

I also have a Carbtune I had ordered from England and never even opened the box.

Don't need it anymore since I now have fuel injected bike.

Same price. Can hold it for you if you still need one, till we meet again. Don't like the mailing hassles. ( Custom forms etc).

  5. Hey Mike....

Just saw your post....has been a while since we last met, somewhere on the road. Say...why don't you come to the Burlington meet on the 6rh ( see Saddlebum post) and we can talk about the great Nomad bikes. I got a couple of them too, currently. I could pick you up, if you still live in Brampton. Regardless, please keep in touch. We will surely meet in riding season.

  6. I have very little faith in this medical profession. Doctors used to be looked up to, and respected in the old days...not any more. All they have turned into is commisioned salesmen for the drug companies. If I broke a bone or two...yes, I would very quickly run to the hospital and get it looked at and fixed. But when it comes to taking drugs prescribed by them,or vaccinations, they can shove them up their you know what. Am 72 and I don't take ANY pills! When my time comes...and it will....even for the ones that visit doctors every week... I will gladly accept it and go. There is no getting away from that fact. And don't ever believe pills are making people live longer, as they will try and make u believe. For all I know, they are shortening your lives. Certain kinds of surgeries might give you a bit of extra time on earth, but is it worth it? Does quality of life matter, or as long as one is breathing, its all good??:confused24:

My dad lived to be 99. The villages he spent most of his life, didn't have a single doctor, of pharmacy. His mother lived to be a 100. I give credit to the fresh and healthy food available in those days. If our governments cared about the general population, they would make sure we eat healthy foods, inhale fresh air, and drink clean water. Not rely on useless expensive drugs they shove down our throats....that make us more sick, so they can sell us some more.:bang head:

I chuckle when people say," LISTEN TO THE DOCTOR AND FOLLOW HIS/HER ORDERS" :confused07:

  7. Noisy things at campsites that many people do not like: Yapping dogs, screaming kids, loud motorcycles, running generators and my pet peeve, people who think you want to listen to their choice of music.

agree......and if any of those things bother anyone, then wilderness camping or motels is an option. Do we blame a lady whose child is crying on top of its lungs in a mall?? Do we expect her to train or punish her/his child?....or ask her to stay home?:confused24:
