In some forums I cannot post. Also sometimes I cannot send a private message, even to someone that I have sent private messages to in the past. I am getting this error message: You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts Obviously I can post new threads because I am posting one here. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. Thanks.

I found this on Craigslist. It is local enough that I could go look at it, Maybe two and a half hours away. I'm curious what more experienced minds think of the things that need to be fixed on this bike. I am concerned when he says it needs "new Springs and seals in the front forks". Has anyone dealt with this issue on a 1st Gen Venture? In general I am not afraid to learn by working on it myself, but this sounds like it might not be a chore for someone without experience. What do you think would be a reasonable offer for this bike? I am new on the forum and have only recently begun to consider the idea of buying a venture. I am trying to sort out the different models. I would like to find a web-page or a book with information on the history of the Venture series and some technical information on the differences between the models and the years. I think I should be able to google this information but so far I haven't had much luck, so I just decided to ask the experts. Thanks.

I will try to restrain my enthusiasm for buying a new bike until I have more information on what you are selling. No promises though.
