    Let's see if this thread takes off. I will start with a word, and the following poster comes up with a word that is associated with it. For example, if I say the word "Lincoln" the next poster may say "President" or maybe even "Continental". I belong to another board where this thread has gone for over 400 pages before problems had to lock the thread. They started another and it is going like crazy. Its fun to see what people come up with. I'll start a few to get it going.

    My cb will receive very well but wont transmit. Any suggestions?

     

    does the receiver stop when you pull the button, when I got my bike the CB would not transmit nor when I pulled the CB talk button the receiver didn't shut off (go quite) so I knew it was in the button, I squirted some contact cleaner in there and it worked. Sometimes it still does not work, I need to take it a part and clean the contacts.

    Go to a CB shop or find a ham radio operator, they will have a power meter, can hook up to the end of your antenna and see how much power you are putting out.

     

    Does the little red light come on when you pull the transmit button.

    I have had a for sale sign on my bike for a few weeks. I have been taking it to work and got a call on it. My thoughts were to get a smaller bike. When i got the call it was kind of a good or bad call. The felling I want to sell but dont want to sell. Well find out sunday when the gentleman shows up.

     

    I have an 01 V92C Victory that has the same problem. I need to sell but hard to sell

    When the side stand doesn't retract properly, it means the NUT on the seat forgot to remove the JACK ADAPTER:bang head:

     

    Good news, the bike should not of started, well mine didn't when I did that. I got some old cloth red streamers I put on it now when I put it under the bike.

     

    IF you would of red the instructions, it said not to do that.......... LOL

     

    I was thinking of having my powder coated bright orange.

     

    It happens to the best minds, and those not to smart either, don't worry about it.

    I'll admit I've always liked the Electra Glide Ultras and now the Limited edition ... I was going to buy one when the 2009s came out but for some reason, couldn't justify spending that much money... so I bought an '06 RSMV ... then sold that and bought an '03 Wing ... then traded that in for a new '13 Victory CCT ... I've probably spent a lot more than the price of that Harley since LOL.

     

    Too late for me now though.

    I went for a 318 mile ride today and ended up right back where I started! That's the first time that's happened :think:

     

    I pastor two rural United Methodist churches. I live next to one, but the other one is about 6 miles away. Well I took off before my wife on my RSV, about an hour before service, well she beat me there and I was late. One of the guys in the congregation said, not sure what you were doing but you sure look happy.

     

    I am telling you these bikes have a mind of their own, if you do not keep the bridled they will get away from you and you will go miles before getting them back on track.
