Hi Rick, many thanks for the info on Sport Wheel, I'm definitely gonna have to check this place out! The eBay link shows the wrong cable for my bike; while the handlebar end looks correct, it doesn't have this metal piece on carb end. I'm wondering if we have the wrong p/n? It needs the 2 ends shown in the pics attached. If anyone can help me out with p/n I appreciate it! It's a 1988 Venture Royal 1300. See all pics attached.

Hi all, in July I rode through Bear Tooth Pass, AMAZING! Literally the day I got back home to Minnesota, my throttle cable broke! Whew, that was lucky. My local repair guy found the p/n on the oem diagram, it lists "41V-26312-00-00 Cable 2 (pull cable)". He ordered a new cable from Ebay with this p/n, but now that he's doing the repair, he found the cable doesn't come with the adjuster elbow piece (photo attached). And the new cable's terminator doesn't fit through the old adjuster elbow; because the terminator is too large to fit through. We can't put it together with what we have. Cable 1 (push) is still available from Yamaha, but Cable 2 (pull) isn't. I don't find the right cable with a web search. Does anyone know where to get this cable with the adjuster piece like the OEM diagram shows??

Hi Freebird, thanks for the reply! The example you sent is actually the clutch cover, not the stator cover. I know because I bought the wrong one already 🤦. The stator cover has a similar round area, but has a larger point. There was one single stator cover on eBay recently, but the seller wouldn't send me a photo of the inside of the cover even after two requests and an offer. 🤷 I'll keep looking! If anybody has one at home that's not on eBay, please let me know! Thanks.

Hi, I'm in desperate need of the stator cover for my 1988 Venture Royale. It's damaged slightly on the back side of the cover and the gasket won't seal it, oil all over my shoes and side of the bike. Who's got one for me? Bonus points for SE Minnesota, but shipping from almost anywhere is cool. I'm excited to get on the bike now that the weather is finally nice 😉

Hi, I have a 1988 Venture Royale. I need a hitch. I bid on a hitch on eBay for a 1986 Venture, is this compatible? I assume all Gen1 are compatible, but I'm not sure exactly where they mount (I believe some of the hard side bags were different). Thanks, John

Actually, paysaw helped me determine the controller works, but the rear connector is bad. Never been on a forum where someone helped to quickly, thanks again Ray!
