myself and the misses are considering bluetooth communicators but I will never gut the factory system. I will be purchasing the wired conventional cb microphone that comes with the tx bypass wiring. I have seen a goldwing set on the J&M website but still searching for a yamaha version. I've read up on the mod but would love someone who actually did it to post some pics on the appropriate thread or pm me directly.

We went a different route this year. I inherited a large Christmas village set from my mother and we decided since we didn't have room for the tree and the village we would compromise. Don't have enough room for everything but here it is still in progress. My wife got the idea from Pinterest I believe.

Nice Brackets, do you get any shadowing from the radiator or the front of the bike? I'm still looking around for a set to mount down near my calipers. BTW I live in Highlands NJ not to far from you.

The memory is still fresh, I only need to go back 22 years when I was 16. I purchased a mint condition, garage kept, 1980 Honda CM200T Twinstar for $500 from a female teacher in high school. My father helped me get it home with his pick up and no sooner was it out of the truck bed I was washing it. Eager to ride I rode it around to the back yard making one big circle coming up to the back porch on the slate walkway and only pulled the front brake. Front end slid out and the bike went down. My leg was pinned temporarily and I managed to slide out and quickly pick it up before my father came around the corner. That was the first time I ever dropped a bike on to this day hopefully will be the only time. Still haven't told my father yet, still waiting for the right time.

I might just be punch drunk but i think i would sell my RSMV for a victory.

I installed mine a little different than most have. I cut the bags apart and then drilled through the windshield and each bag then mounted each bag separately.

Just ordered my baggershield and took advantage of the venturerider discount. Also ordered the Tri pouch bag for it from hopnel. Can't wait
hope they come in time to get at least a ride or two in with them installed. -
I'm for all in the muff, but when it comes to the bike tip out always looks better.

JoeW thanks for the support. I'll be more than happy to remake my ocean Ave video, the posted one is side mounted and only catches half the ride.

I'm a big fan of chin bar mount. Tends to make a shakier video but captures things that I see rather than just in front of the bike. Audio is easily routed in the helmet and pics up sounds from the motorcycle well also. Pictured is my older hero 2 but now the later models are smaller and a whole lot lighter so it's barely noticed. I have been trying a few different mounting locations but this is what I feel makes for a more enjoyable video.
i have a few samples of bike side mount, top mount on helmet (aka teletubby style), front chin bar mount, and handle bar selfie mount. I even put one on my wife's helmet to see what it was like to be the passenger

Just looking on revzilla and they have the Nolan n104 outlaw reg $449 on close out for $279. It looks like the sell there own wired and wireless options for communications. Has anyone used the wired option to the factory system?

I was skeptical but ran a half bottle thru my 07 RSMV and it made a noticeable difference for me with throttle response and acceleration. I knew the bike was sitting when I bought it from the previous owner in July of this year. I felt the bike was sluggish especially when two up and noticed some fuel dripping from the tubes under the bike when I stopped from a ride. I'm thinking the bowls were gummed up some and maybe something else was going on but now after another half bottle everything is golden. For the $11 price tag and the fact my parts store was doing buy on get one 50% off I figured it couldn't hurt. So glad I did it.

40 Subscribers in 5 weeks! I'm thankful and appreciate the support from the venture rider forum. Trying to work out my microphone issues and get some content rather than just video up. Who thought it would be so much work. most rides I get 4-5 hours footage and only use 10-12 minutes of that if any. Leaves are changing and i have been scoping out areas for a fall ride thru so stay tuned

Pretty sure scorpion makes a whole line with a small pump on the bottom of the back that pumps up to tighten up the cheek pads.

Interested in more info on these "button type mic mute things". I too have been looking at the Sena products but haven't made a decision since the factory system still works.

I have my eyes on a new victory. I'm terrible afraid to ride one only for the fact that I would buy it or not return from the test ride.

I starting to think after trying on some helmets that a comfy helmet that I'm not going to have issues with for years is going to carry a $400+ price tag. Shoei version of hi-viz is yellow, if I go with a shoei it would have to be the LE black and white version. The search is still on

Figured out if you search great adventure and then filter the search results by channel I should be the fourth one down. I don't understand why other new vloggers only have like 3 subs and there channel pops right up when searched. Maybe since my name is used multiple times in many various configurations it makes it harder. Another vloggers told me views and subs will get me searchable faster. Thanks for all your support guys and gals
hope they come in time to get at least a ride or two in with them installed.

Just an update... I still haven't purchased a new lid yet but I have tried on the Bell revolver only to be disappointed. Oval head shapes do not fit into ROUND holes without some immediate discomfort
