I would also like to take the opportunity to invite anyone staying at Orlin's over Labor Day Weekend to take a ride down to Stoddard, WI (it's about 33 miles) on Sunday and join me at our local fire department's annual fundraiser and chicken que. The event is posted on the Stoddard Bergen Fire Department website and Facebook page, as well as LaCrosse craigslist. I am one of the head chairpersons and would really enjoy seeing some friends and meeting new people. It's a family orientated event but we do serve adult beverages. It's a pretty big event for our area and I think all would have a good time.

Stacy and I are going to try to make it over on Friday afternoon, but one of our friends is getting hitched on Saturday. We won't be staying the night but would like to get in a ride and meet some more people. I'll let you know when it gets closer.

After speaking with Orlin a few weeks ago, I decided to stop by earlier this evening. Being a new member, I wasn't really sure what to expect. Had my wife and kids with me in our van. Met Orlin and his wife, Rick and his wife, Frodotoo, A1bummer (I think), and one other rider that I don't recall his name at the moment. Let me tell you, they were really friendly, down to earth people and accepted me and my wife immediately. I have only rarely felt that welcome with a bunch of "strangers". I can hardly wait to meet more of the people from this group. As Rick said at one point, the cost of membership to this site was the best money I'll ever spend. Thanks alot to all. Hope to see you on the road or at Orlin's maintenance day.
