Did this to mine as a winter project this past winter and just loving it. This is the first mod I would do on a new bike.

Ooops!
I guess I fooked up with my land. I was wondering just how long you would have to ride you bike there. Greenland may have 1 or 2 months without snow. I feel really aweful now Flugur but tx for straightening me out before I went too far for the arangements. I'll be crawling under a rock now......I will send another email to my friend and cancel this. He hasn't replied yet (Thank Goodness).

Hmmmm I wonder if I could get something sorted out with my buddy in Trenton Ontario. We have planes flying to Thule, Iceland and from there to Alert NWT on a weekly basis.
I will have to see what could be done if anything. Don't hold your breath on this though, it is just a check. This plane is a cargo plane and is normally pretty well loaded but I would just like to find out if they could do this.

You are right. The copy I have has not yet been registered though. It is still sealed. Not sure how this works though....if they already paired it with my GPS. I wouldn't think so since it was never registered.

I lowered my front end, added the Baron Risers and re-routed the cables on the right from in front of the fork to between the fork. Works great now and no problems adding air.

I did the same as he suggested and it looks great. Total cost $4.07 I like the looks on my midnight. Of course, I already had studs on the seat and back rest so this lent itself very nicely to the looks.

I had to use mine just the other day for the first time. Some guy in a PU looked right over my head. I knew just the way he looked past me he didn't see me. I had my thumb ready and sure as heck, he started to pull on the road in front of me. I layed on the horn and let him have it. That got his attention. He looked at me go by like I was a Tractor Trailer.
Great feeling to be heard.

I have one that came with my zumo but I don't need it. Already had one I had purchased for my old GPS. I can sell it to you fif it will work for you Garmin. Let me know

I get my Avon from a local shop for $150 for the rear and slightly less for the front. I find this acceptable for these tires.

That's where I got mine Magnum....Both Toys for Big Boys and Eldrige's are the same price. I just have to look the other way when I use it so I don't see the tiny HD logo LOL

Well, I am inseam challenged as you so nicely put it LOL. So I lowered the front instead of using the leveling links. That being said, I guess I am reading that the stock tire is what I should be looking for. So I will.

Tx StarBog...this is what I hear from everyone who ever tried them. I just thought I had read that smaller was better but I am certainly not against going stock size.

I am about to get new tires on my 06 and was wondering if there is anything I should know about recommended size and actual size. What the dealer recommends is one thing but you guys are the fully qualified testers. I have read that some used a smaller tire in the front for handling. What size should I use front? And back?

Just make sure you have the same pressure on both sides. Mine did the same while doing winter maintenance on the bike. I used a small wooden mallet to set it back in. I was a bit nervous at the start of biking season but all is well and no gas leak.

It is actually pretty simple to re-route. No need to remove the gas tank or split the fairing. Just unhook from the throttle (pay attention as per SaltyDawg's instructions) then just re-route from front of the fork to betwen the forks and reconnect.
I didn't know about the spring and still don't. It never flew off and all went back together with no issue.

I am only 5'3" with short inseam and didn't really have a problem with it. SlatyDawg said there are 2 fixes, actually there are 3....if you are pretty tall, leveling links work great but if you are short as I am, lowering the front end works great and cost nothing to boot.

Yep...I had the same problem and re-routing the cables on the throttle side did the trick. The left side was OK. You could also spend some dough and get the braided cables. They look sharp and have the extra length.

Gas stabilizer of sea foam?

I am not sure if see foam is or can be used as a gas stabilizer. If it can then I guess that would be the "Thing" to use when winterizing my scoot. If not, I would think any stabilizer from Canadian Tire would work right?
