  1. Out here living the dream in SW Virginia!
  2. Thanks to you all. Sorry about the late response. I didn't have email notifications on! Jim: I figured it had to do with road pitch, but wasn't sure. Thanks. Jay: I got a Cooper Tire. Don't remember if its a 165 or 155-80-15 I've got another ride or two till I hit 1000 miles on it. I'll do a separate post with reaction and pics then. Thanks guys!
  3. The rear tire on my Venture Midnight got a bit ahead of me and I replaced it. This was several weeks ago. Just browsing my pics today, I noticed much more wear on one side. The tire is long gone and I have no idea now which side this would've been. Any thoughts on the 'abnormal' wear? I live in Roanoke, VA and do a lot of mountain stuff, so in my opinion for every left turn there is a right turn. BTW As an aside, I went from this to "the Dark Side", but that's another post!
  4. My lady would like a version of my highway pegs to give her a place to change her foot position. I've had an idea or two, but wanted to see if anyone else has done something. I've got a 2002 Venture Midnight. Not sure if I'm in the right forum for this or not!
  5. I'ma Newbie, so be gentle please!! I have a 2002 Midnight Venture. I assume this is a 2nd Gen bike? I'm trying to learn the lingo/system here. I've looked at a couple threads on my issue: Non-working hazard lamps. Reading the threads are hard to jump in on. Here's what I know: All turn signals are working, so wiring to bulbs is fine as are the bulbs. I ordered a (used- so I get that may be bad too) replacement hazard module. Replacing the module that was on the bike fixed nothing. 1) Is there a way to test the module (right side of bike) to tell me if the module is bad? 2) What is next? Testing the switch inside the hand control? 3) When the ignition is off, the hazards do not work. Is this true? Or should they work ignition on/off? I've read this elsewhere on the forum, just confirming.
