I have a 99 rsv but got a chance to ride @Freebird beautiful midnight edition, boy does his bike whine but not nearly as much as Don does!
Should not be an issue for him since he barely rides it! Lol.[emoji48][emoji23]

Splinters are nothin, it's the termites I'm worried about,I did warn him that he could catch splinters if he's not careful.Sent from my SM-T900 using Tapatalk

That's funny Donny boy, but you know this means war!So yesterday Paul and I, Motiv , decided to go for a little ride. Left around 10:00 in the morning and made the short ride over to the Sandusky area. Stopped by Margaritaville to have some lunch and that is when I knew that this guy is a problem. You would think that in this age of political correctness and the "Me Too" movement that we would all know that groping women is NOT acceptable...I guess he didn't get the memo.I have to say though...I think they are made for each other.

Some love it and some hate it but I liked it a lot. The Corbin seat will sit you lower and a bit further back from my experience. You should get to one of our meets somewhere and try to find a bike with one and sit on it.
Just sit on it Ralph!

Seen a red one at spraug's restaurant during the WAY rally. It looked real nice but I must agree that cruise should be standard and a trunk option would complete the package.

I would replace any worn part in the forks.
You can go with thicker oil to slow the dampening rate I used 15 weight.
I followed the manual on the head bearing adjustment and after a couple hundred miles it all settled in and was too loose it would start heading towards a tank slapper with one hand on the bars.
I ended up snugging it by jacking the bike up and letting the front end fall to either side with zero rebound.

Do redneck, I know I'll win that! Lol.
But seriously I like the 70"s idea. Where does one get a disco shirt and platform boots?

Just thinking out loud here. I know we briefly talked about a "future" theme but in lieu of Elvis' 40th anniversary of his passing (8/16/77) falling so close to rally time a Elvis gig may be fitting.
Does that band know Elvis tunes?

Some landlords actually pay the unruly tenants to leave early and still come out ahead because they can get new ones in.
It's a shame.

I would like to give a big thank you to Steve Kowalcky (M61A1MECH).
I was on the verge of buying a 09 RSV in New Smyrna Beach at a great price. The guy selling the bike came across honest enough but I am a skeptic by nature. I reached out to Steve to see if he could give it a once over, he was very accomidating.
It turns out the bike had corrosion in places it normally would not, as if it lived on the coast or possibly was under salt water at some point he had also mentioned there may be an issue with a valve. I passed on the purchase.
So long story long Steve is a great guy and I owe him a beer!
