My son, who works for Apple as an EXPERT/asst. manager, told me that my i mac will not allow ANY mal-ware or virus to affect my machine.
having made that statement, i am asking , "Is he correct"? if so, then would it be safe to down load bit torrents?
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

it never occured to me, that downloading "web" music could be illegal!
i am certainly not interested in breaking any laws.
looks like i'll just cruise around on You tube, when i want to hear good music.
thanks a million for all the input.

looks like them derned " Navy Seals" started something!

Don, being leather, it would hold up better than vinyl, i would think.
if it fades, you can just re-dye it with liquid shoe polish.
or, maybe spray it with a silicone spray to weather proof it.
it comes in a 50 foot role, and i can get about 16 feet out of a full roll.
talk to me "main"!
rofl @ "TWEETY".

i found some vinyl lace, but it was "cheesy, chinese made".
also found some "deerskin lace". have a look at the pics and see if this might be what you need.

i looked at the "voyager kit" and the "tow-pac" kit.
i decided , if i can't build this rig myself, for 1/4 of their asking price, then i'll just leave her parked.

being as how this hasn't been deemed a "political thread", i too am skeptical.
too many varying accounts, all from high ranking people whose names could not be disclosed! i think Yammer Dan could have been one of them!
like the guys on here say, if you ain't got pictures, then it didn't happen.

Don.that is just a standard "4 plat". go to a hobby shop , buy a "macrame book" for about 2 bucks and learn how to do it yourself.
i could teach you in 4 minutes, but i can't SEE you!
i think a prettier, more durable trim, would be a "double button-hole stitch", like is used for edging on western wallets.

i understand your pain, and the need for tears.
i lost my old germanshepherd "child"last month.he was 12 years old.
since then, i "adopted' a 5 year old kid, who brought with him a ton of NO TRAINING.
gonna take a lot of work on my part to mold him into "family".

been looking at mac's what one did you get?

just a plain old second hand i MAC.
i bought my son a new one for his birthday a mont ago, so he insisted i use this one, to get "aquainted" with the leopard os.
then he wants me to get "the real deal" like his!
lol
my question to him is "why do i need a computer that is large enough to run a third world govt.

gonna take more than a couple of hours, to figure this new iMAC out!
so far, i like what i have "discovered" how to do, but that ain't saying much.

thank you one and all, for the responses.
my "plan", is to grind out the "spot" weld that holds these internals in place.
raise them about 1/2 inch, so that they will serve as a "mating post". in this manner, i hope to get all of the new ports installed correctly.
otherwise, it'll just be a crap shoot.

70 lookers and not one reply!
even a bad reply would convince me that "someone" actually read this post!

externally, there are 4 inlet ports, and 2 exhaust ports.
internally, there are also 4 "tubes" on the inlet ports and 2 tubes on the exhaust ports.my question is ,would removing or shortening the "internal tubes" , have any serious effect on the overall engine performance?
referring mostly to carbs.

i am going to replace the old "glass fuse" block with spade type fuses.
my question is "are all circuits energized by one main positive wire, or are there different power inputs from other circuits, that energize a certain fuse"?

Don't worry about it. Charlie sometimes misses the fine nuances and/or fun sarcasm that is obvious to most. You have to be here a while to truly understand him.
Great joke, Don!
i've been here for YEARS, never met charlie face to face, but i STILL don't understand him half the time.i don't know if anyone really understands that crazy canuk.
