  1. As I'm a 1 month old owner of my 89 Venture Royale, I've got a few questions for all here. First, after picking up the motorcycle, I decided to get some routine maint. done on her before my first trip of 100 mi or more. Is there a list of items I should be aware of here on the website, or would it be just as good to follow the owners manual. It's at the 35k mark and runs awesome, but any suggestions would be helpful. Second, I jusyt noticed on the instrument cluster, in the area where the digital readout is, there is a piece of black electrical tape covering the red "Warning" light, which is illuminated. The owners manual says that this could be from the battery water level being low, so I topped it off. Is there a way to reset the light? Or should I be concerned and proceed further? at idle, the bike is running at 12.5v, 13.5v on the road.
  2. The prosecution's case was doomed from the start. They never had a chance of proving any part of 2nd degree murder let alone manshaughter. The blatent media bias, the tainted judge and the interrogation of Zimmerman by her for testifying or not was disgusting. I'm glad that justice was served, I'm sorry a young life was cut short, but the path to Martin's destruction began long before.
  3. Engine case, RH side (as your sitting on it)? On a flat portion of the case, facing up??
  4. The only reason I could think of them requiring the engine number is for theft??
  5. Snaggletooth and Prariehammer, Thanks for the responses. Snaggletooth, where about are you talking?? I'm new to the model so bear with me. I tried to explain that to the uncooperative ladies in 2 offices, but to no avail. They suggest that I take it to St paul for an inspection. Thanks.
  6. Hi Everyone! New to the site, looks great. I just purchased a 1989 Venture Royale w/35K. Great running/looking machine. I'm having an issue with something stupid?? MN DMV requires a "Motorcycle Engine Number" for the title transfer. The number I've located is an 1NL-****** number stamped on the upper portion of the engine block on the left side. They're telling me it's an 17 digit number, but that one I cant locate. Any thoughts? Thanks, Brett
