rek58 Posted July 26, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 26, 2008 I know I had seen something out here a while ago about this, but couldn't find it. Anyways, the brass outlet tube was weeping a bit and it popped out when I pulled the fuel line off. I understand that it is a pressure fit, ok to tap it back in as is? Use a little sealant? Or replace the whole thing? Thoughts or experiences, thanks.
SaltyDawg Posted July 26, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 26, 2008 Most times you can just tap it back in with a rubber mallet. I haven't heard of anybody using epoxy or anything else to keep it in. Mine came out once and I just tapped it back in. Haven't had a problem since.
rek58 Posted July 26, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted July 26, 2008 Thanks for the reply, I thought I had seen a similar answer to this question out here before. That's all I did, it seemed to go back in nice and snug. I'll just keep an eye on it.
