sorcerers apprentice Posted May 11 Share #1 Posted May 11 Hey all I have a 2000 millennium edition rsv and I seem to have an electrical gremlin. I replaced my stator and rec/reg last year and this season the bike seems to run at 12.5 volts for about an hour then it picks up to 13.2 and I can't seem to figure out what's going on any help or advice as to what to look at first would be much appreciated thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Marcarl Posted May 12 Share #2 Posted May 12 Check the 3 wires coming from the stator to make sure they are all connected and clean. Then check the connection coming to and away from the R&R. If all is good, then start the bike, let it run for a minute, crank the rpms to 2000 and hold for 29 secs. Now you can check the voltage, first on the battery clamps and then the battery post themselves. Report what you find. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
