spear Posted March 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2007 Hey puc. You got such a thing in your part of the world called a 'Battery Doc'? Little mains powered trickle charge device that keeps your battery like new, no matter how long between rides and how cold she gets.
concours Posted March 27, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 27, 2007 Hey puc. You got such a thing in your part of the world called a 'Battery Doc'? My snowmobile battery lives just fine. Same YTX20 as our RS's... Now trying to educate the masses, good luck to ya. EXCELLENT advice about running the starter once the voltage gets low. I've always gotten 6-7 years from my MC, ATV, Snowmobile batts. with proper care. Hope the AGM's I'm using now can top that.... we'll see.
