BigShell Posted May 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted May 22, 2008 I put the round vents in mine a few weeks ago. The tall, wide Clearview is a great winter shield, but I wanted more air on me this summer. I cut 2 inches off my stock shield and put two round pop-out vents in it. I don't get the same blast in the chest that the wing vent gave me, but the vents do get rid of that dead air space and the smaller shield lets more air hit my arms.
