SpencerPJ Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 (edited) So, I have an 83', and it has developed a seeping, to now slow drip coolant while cooling down. Sometimes a 4" circle on garage floor, so not ridiculous. It's seems to be coming from the thermostat housing 'o' ring. I found some pretty detailed advise in the First Gen Tech talk, and know I should replace cover (possible warped), o rings etc. BUT, it still seems to be a PITA, lots has to come off, and I had some great success with some stop leak in my Yukon on some heater hose seals and was wondering if anyone has run stop leak through their Motorcycle ? Rafterd Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Me personally, no. The holes, tubes, and orifices on a motorcycle are smaller than an automobile. It could stop up your radiator. But itโs your bike. Just my two cents, please spend it wisely.๐
