Talking about headset

Well, finally today the J&M CB Solo radio show up. I plan to install it on the RS96.

 

Now, I have the J&M headset too but it seems that I need to replace the lower cable from the 5 pins to the 6 pins for this radio (I use the 5 pins with the VR 84).

 

Did someone here has used the same headsets with different lower cable? the manual is talking about some special models, but I really can't find wich model are my headsets.

 

I know that I bought it two years ago, and comes in a sale from a goldwing dealer, and it works perfect on the VR.

 

So, every update on this will be highly appretiated.
