Mermaids and sea-gods are acceptable, so are very large sand sculptures and very large paintings of the same on buildings. (Seabirds are not aceptable) For example, in Norfolk, VA there is a painting on the side of a building of whales that is several stories tall (sorry I did not get a picture of it last week).
