I noticed a thread about handle bar grips by litteacher

and it reminded me that I wanted to ask here if anybody would like to have a set of heated grips for your Venture.

 

The grips & control are on the bike now and I don't have a clue how to get them off but if someone helps me out I would be willing to trade the grips for a like new set of "factory" type grips. These heated grips have less than 7K miles use but I don't like the feel. As a matter of fact, since I tested the running table saw blade with my right thumb, getting a comfortable grip is difficult and I really do need a set of foamies but they won't go over the heated.

if you have an air compressor it's easy.

 

Just slip an air gun under the grip somewhere and give it a little blast. Grip puffs up a tiny bit and slides right off.

 

No muss, no fuss.
