cb problem

Can't seem to transmit with the cb on my RSV. Others can hear the button "beep" when I press and let go but they can't hear me on the mic. I've changed the cable and used a different headset and I tried transmitting from the passenger plug. Any ideas?

Every time I have had this problem (3) it has been the headset. Either a cable or connection. That said it could just as well be a connection under the fairing. The plugs may need to be cleaned, have dielectric grease applied and wiggle tested.

Try your helmet in some else's bike. It sounds like you are getting out or the "beep" shouldn't be getting transmitted either.

 

I'd guess you radio is fine but something is damaged in the helmet.
