elmicko Posted June 4, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2013 Hi!!! Haven't posted in a while, but I've lurked quite a bit. Is anybody selling shorter kickstands for 2nd gens right now? I lowered mine on the front forks a couple of years ago and it really makes me nervous when parked on anything other than a flat surface. Just not enough lean angle on the stock kickstand now. PD1313 Posted June 4, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2013 I have been told that a kick stand and spring from a Road Star brings a lowered RSV back to a normal lean angle. Perfect fit, lines up with the neutral safety switch no prob.

elmicko Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted June 4, 2013 Ok now I'm a bit concerned about the Road Star kickstand idea. The ones for a Road Star don't have the extension that you can grab with your heel and put the stand down. So if I put the Road Star kickstand on there am I going to be causing myself problems? Here's a pic of mine so you'll know what I'm talking about. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/20130604_183309_zpsffc478aa.jpg
Bubber Posted June 4, 2013 Share #5 Posted June 4, 2013 Cut the end off and send it to me and I'll weld a pad on it. Good luck standing there holding up the bike while you wait for snail mail.
