shmily Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I recently purchased an 07 Midnight Venture. I leave in a few days on a four-day ride with the boys to Rolling Thunder in DC for Memorial Day weekend. The manual give a range of ride pressures for the rear shock and front forks. My question: can anyone recommend a good start point for the "right" pressures for comfort on a long tirp with a single rider? I'll have a gym bag in the trunk and my own body weight (180) on the bike. No passenger.
Brake Pad Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Im at 250, I rode at 27 pounds & 3 on the front shocks
shmily Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 So my pressure guage that with the bike is metric. Is 3-4 a setting or actual messure of pressure?
dacheedah Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) that's psi what unit of measure is your gauge using?? The European manual shows Spring preload (air pressure): Minimum/Standard: 0 kPa (0 kg/cm2{squared}, 0 bar) Maximum: 50 kPa (0.5 kg/cm2 {squared}, 0.5 bar) Hope that helps Edited May 20, 2013 by dacheedah
