I'm sorry to be so needy but I count on ya'll for all my answers. I had my front fork lowered 1". It was a bit of task so I don't really want to go back through that. Here is my thinking. Low speed is great with the 1" lower but at higher speeds it is just a touch too responsive. I could probably get use to it but tweaking for perfection is what we do right? I don't want to go back to original geometry by lowering the rear with the Baron lowering kit. Soooo.... my tires are old enough that I should replace them. What if I put a 150\80 15 on the rear vs. the 150/90 15 which is OEM? I am not an aggressive rider. I think I've scraped my boards once since I've owned my 2008 RSV. How much would this idea lower the rear and would there be any other considerations on this tire size change I should be aware of?

Shorter links will raise the bike Longer than stock should lower but I haven't heard of anyone doing this unless using a Barons kit.

Your not running a smaller front tire are you ?

No I'm not. My front tire is stock. I talked to my local shop and they feel if go with a 150\80 15 tire on the rear it will only make a few millimeters difference which is what I'm hoping for. Just a little lower. Now I'm told I might feel a bit more of the road vibrations since it doesn't have as much cushion as a 150\90 15 but I think it will give me the best of what I'm hoping for. I like a lower look and just a little in the back will offset the full inch I lowered the fork just enough without going to far. Whatcha think?
