Fred,

If you have the factory cassette deck and it still works, get a cassette adapter and use it in the deck. You can go and get any MP3 player and plug it into the adapter and run it through the bikes speakers. I have been doing it for years on my 1st gens...

That is what I do and It works great.

I mounted one of these on my 83 and hooked it to the existing speakers and didn't work to bad. With all the wind noise anyway crystal clear recepetion isn't needed. This also has a jack for your Ipod to plug in.
