GeorgeS Posted April 12, 2013 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2013 On an 08 RSTD, ( or all 2ng gens ) the TCI is mounted under the battery to the lower part of the frame, OK, my question is, after you remove the Large Plug, is there any " Excess " cable run avialable ??? I'm thinking about Moveing the TCI to a more accessable place on the bike. ( as yet to be determined ! ) Anyway, has anybody done this,?? and if so, where did you move it to on the bike, and how did you handle lengthing the cable to reach the New Location ??? KAWoodworth Posted April 12, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 12, 2013 I just replaces my stock TCI with the DYNA3000 and I sure don't remember any extra cable. OK, thanks, well in that case, I guess I would have to " extend " the existing cable, by spliceing in extra length of wires.
