robclark63 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I have read some posts on here but I cant find my answer. I am going to buy one from the manufacturer but my question is... They have carbtune II, carbtune pro 4, color tune and they ask about color tune plug size... I just need some guidance to what to buy. I want to make sure I have everything right the first time. Thanks for any information in advance.
Eck Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 All you need for your 1st gen is the carbtune pro 4 You can contact Muffinman (Jeff) and he can explain in detail about the color tune.. You could use the color tune, but the carbtune pro 4 will get you the results you are looking for and is a lot cheaper
robclark63 Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Eck...Thanks a lot!!! Carbtune pro 4 will do then:301:

robclark63 Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Good stuff, just got my carbtune in today...Ordered from manufacturer and it came in two weeks. Now I have to get all my other parts and the shim kit to set my valves and I will be ready to tune the carbs...I hope I have everything finished up by April!!!
pprince Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Looking outside I would say you have the time I bought the carbtune last year and have used it on 2 4-cylinder bikes. It works slick!
