raybear71 Posted July 6, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2012 With the temp gauge on all our first gens riding high in the heat of summer I have to ask if anyone has ever installed an external oil cooler, and if so how did they do it? My bike isn't overheating just running warm like all of them do. Just wondering if this is a possible mod. to help keep things a little cooler. Thanks, Ray. mbrood Posted July 6, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2012 The Gen 1 bikes read higher on the meter than the Gen 2 bikes when they are at the same physical temperature. riding on the edge of red isn't that extraordinary on a hot day for the earlier variant.
