Headlight icon lights up - after 5 minutes ?

I have a strange thing that bugs me. In the morning when I start my bike up, the headlight icon will light up for about 5 minutes then goes out. It does it less if it's warm out...strange. Any ideas?

Check the connections, hose them down if all else with CRC Electrical COnnector cleaner, let dry, and reseat.

 

Mine used to do that, after a cleaning of the connectors, all was better. (and then a month later replaced the headlight all together with a new chrome plated one)
