Bringing back a 84 Venture back to life.

I started with the frame and engine Friday evening today I took it for a spin still have a long ways to go but it runs and moves and stops. I have everything but the tack working and could sure use some ideas. I know that the tack worked a year ago before it was taken apart. To be used as a parts bike so I am a loss as to why it wont work now.

Since the tach reads the pulses from the TCI's #2 low connection of that ignition coil and also the fuel pump as a "keep alive" signal to keep the pump enabled, you can bet that that signal is being sent into the wiring harness. i expect a loose connection or a cold solder joint at the dash... diagram shows the wire to be gray on a 6 pin connector up there.

Now I have the netural light blinking and still no tack tryed a diffrent insterment pannel that I know is a good one my in the TCI cleaned the conections, I have everything but the tack. it runs great took it for a spin down the road today.
