rjg1985 Posted April 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 13, 2012 Here is a the link to a thread. I made a few sets of these a while back but do not have any left. We are really busy on our lasers but I could try to get some more made. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37071&highlight=side+cover+vents

lsutley Posted April 14, 2012 Share #5 Posted April 14, 2012 I have a spare set of louvered inserts for my 86. One has a broken mounting tab but is still serviceable and is not seen from the exterior. I do not know what a fair price would be and will send a picture if you are interested. lsutley Posted April 14, 2012 Share #6 Posted April 14, 2012 I found two on ebay. Complete side-covers with louvered inserts. One for $150.00 and the other for $55.00. Here is the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-yamaha-venture-xvz1200-xvz-1200-right-side-cover-/260356188974?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3c9e702b2e&vxp=mtr
lsutley Posted April 14, 2012 Share #7 Posted April 14, 2012 I have attached some pics of the louvered inserts that I have for sale. I obtained these as part of a side-cover pair purchase from ebay. All that I wanted was the vents because they had the chrome accents attached. There is some slight paint over-spray on them and as I was cleaning them I broke off one of the mounting tabs. I decided to strip the accents and attach them to the ones from my bike. The white goo shown in the pictures is chrome polish and the edge view shows the remnants of the double faced tape used to attach the accents.
