Itsan06 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 the old tall clear windshield was scratched and beyond its prime ordered this one off ebay for 66 bucks i think it was. fit perfect and looks cool to boot.... oh and i thought i would throw in a pic of my old bike 2002 Warrior for giggles still miss that throttle on the thing !!!!!
playboy Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Cool look I like the shorter windshields I have short wide on mine and wish it was even shorter but don't think the wife on the back will go for it.
twigg Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I find it a hard compromise. I like to look over the windshield most of the time, but it is quieter behind it .... So I generally have to cut them to get it just right. 22" on the VR 1st Gen is about right, so my excellent 24" screen ($35 Ebay) needed a couple of inches lopping off. 10 minutes with a jigsaw and some patient sanding and it's just about right.
