ratrodney Posted October 15, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2011 Hey Noticed my oils a little low. Wat type oil you reccomend and weres the oil fill at on the 86 venture royale 1300cc bike? The oil level should be no more than halfway up the sight glass with the bike upright off the side stand and level. If you fill it to the sight glass while on the side stand it will be WAY overfilled and make a mess. I use Valvoline 10W40, 4 stroke motorcycle oil from auto zone. Yammer Dan Posted October 15, 2011 Share #5 Posted October 15, 2011 On center stand and no more than 1/2 way up the sight glass. I use Castrol 20/50. Right off the shelf at Wally World.
