I had mine apart the other day to oil the speedometer and tried to clean the face and wipped the numbers off. They were white but now they are faded yellow and smeared. Will see how it works. Been thinking to either completely replace faceplate with new plexiglass, or wipe existing faceplate completely off front and back, then apply vinyl label. Your dash turned out nice, I want to keep the 83 gauge plate because the numbers are larger and easier for me to see. I have a temporary speedo from a 86 in there now but I have problems seeing the numbers. Yours looked good before the white face, I wish I had those on mine.
