crossedthreads1 Posted August 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 26, 2011 left work today laid the bike down on right side very easy while in 1st gear probably 7mph I pick it up, shake it off, ride home. I no longer have 4th and 5th gears . the bike shifts 1,2,3, and that's it. Shifter feels just like it is in top gear.Everything feels normal it just only a 3 speed now. bkuhr Posted August 26, 2011 Share #2 Posted August 26, 2011 Likely dropped a pin in the gear selector. Will have to pull clutch cover and basket to access. Recommend upgrade to later model gear selector, as the pins are in a cast gear, vs current springsteel plate holding them in.
