Whistler Posted August 2, 2011 #1 Posted August 2, 2011 I,m thinking of takeing the clear wings off below the fairing or are they needed to protect the forks.. I thought they might let the air flow a little better on the hot days Ron
V7Goose Posted August 2, 2011 #2 Posted August 2, 2011 You can remove both the deflectors mounted under the turn signals as well as the deflectors mounted to the fairing edge. Those on the forks (turn signals) absolutely do block a lot of air - without them you will get a large flow of air up and over the front of the tank and into your mid section. Just be aware that if you ever ride in the wet, even just road spray after the rain has stopped, you will get an equal amount of water blown right up to the same place! Goose
Whistler Posted August 2, 2011 Author #3 Posted August 2, 2011 Thanks goose I think i,ll try taking the one,s on the fairing off and go from there .. Harley has a pair of adjustable wings on there fairing andthey work great wish they had them for Ventures ron:cool10:
