RWITT Posted January 11, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 11, 2011 My 1986 will burn out the tail light fuse when the handlebars are turned all the way to the right with the side stand up.It won't happen with the side stand down.Any ideas of what is happening?Thanks for any help. But seriously, (and remember, I'm just a wannabe mechanic), but my help would be to look at the wiring harness. It sounds like by turning the bars one way the wiring is being stressed and perhaps shorting out against the same wire that sends a signal about the side stand status.
